Don't think he's on here but he will be at the Sussex meet on Sunday.
Its an Aussie WRX hence the trick leather trim etc. Imported it when he came over.
Come along to the meet Sunday and I'll introduce you!! If you can find me for the cars
Iain.

Hi Steve,
Iain was correct in saying "Don't think he's on here but he will be at the Sussex meet on Sunday" where he informed me about your post.
Though I better have a look ...
"Immaculate" - I like to think so. "rust red" .... I like to call it Red Mica ;-D
Glad you liked it, it took a lot of effort to get it here from home !!!
Cheers,
Mortoyz

Sorry about the rust red thing! Nice car. I made the meet on Sunday but only for 10mins to say hello to few people(in a dented blue 306)
My engine is being rebuilt so the scoob is off the road for a bit.
I am often in and about Horsham. (Silver debaged WRX with 17' prodrive 10 spokes)
Cheers

Dare I ask why your engine is being rebuilt ??? Upgrade / preventative maintenance or necessity ....
What model is your scoob ?? Is it an import of did you get it locally ??? If it is an import I may bounce a few questions off you ...
I have had an extreme amount of trouble with 2 firms who have had a shocka in trying to sort some .... scoob issues for me. Took a part of my car to try and compliance it for me - only to destroy it.
The replacement (which they tried to manufacture) is worse that crap and now I can't even get them to return phone calls. This exercise also cost me money not to mention 9 months of heartache & frustration trying to sort it all out.
I think I may end up posting this for all to see and comment on ... The advice may be invaluable.

Hi
I know the feeling!
Firstly my car is a fairly heavily modified WRX.
I too have had problems with local firms screwing me about.
I have had a fair few problems with my car after visting garages including the engine rebuild thing!
I know of two very good mechanics who know scoobs inside out, but they are both a little further afield. They have both been recomended by several people from Scoobynet. One of them is currently working on my car.
What has your experience been? Which garages should we avoid?
There used to be a Scooby dealership at Plummers Plain. They are still open, but no longer an officail dealership. I think they are called Lockyear Cars. Have you ever used them?
Cheers

Just found out that I will be revisting Infrasoft on Monday at 1.00 ish. So, if you are about, I can talk to you about who and who not to use when it comes to mechanics. e-mail s.whitehorn@talk21.com with your phone no and I will give you a call after my meeting.
See ya

Steve,
No worries mate. I plan to take this to the other forum for a 'frank & open' discussion. It would be interesting to get others comments / opinions.
