On my first day of owning this Scooby, I was driving through Barnton (Northwich Cheshire)....Basically, near Warrender (for those of you that know.....picked my ex's dad up (used to be a rally driver) and went out for a spin.
Going down the A533 (Runcorn road) at the lights.......guess what car I pulled up behind.....on my 1st day of ownership ?? Heres a clue....it was purple and the reg no was D14BLO...... yup...you got it, a Lambourghini Diablo..... now as soon as his eyes fixed onto me, all I heard was the orchestral roar of that (nearly) 6 litre V12 as he prepared for warp speed (Mr Sulu).......soooo, on went the diff lock, grasped the steering wheel and prepared to give chase....stupid I know......but you gotta do it aint you ??
Blasting down the A49 (Warrington road) towards Sandiway, howmuch did this please me, but he was only gaining on me very VERY slightly, infact hardly noticable.......but one thing I will tell you all, if you follow one of them, the noise that comes out of the back of it, its a once in a life time thing, them things sound phenominal !!
I was left that evening, (although with half a tank less of Optimax) with a grin like a cheshire cat !! And then about 5 mins later, pulled into the Warrender/RC Developments carpark, and what was parked up in there........yup, you guessed it, the Lambo ;-) we had a right giggle about it.
Sorry for sounding like I have something to boast about.....but wouldn't you guys have shared that story if it had happened to you ??

Well I appreciated it!
Great car, and a nice little anecdote. It's great when you get to "play" with nice cars and then have a friendly chat with the owners too.
One of our chaps posted a story a while back when he went for a Sunday jaunt in his STi7 to find himself behind a bright yellow Diablo VT. They had fun too.
Welcome to scoob ownership!
Cheers,
Squizz.

Well, apparently, it wasn't his, but he did say that it was VERY VERY difficult to drive...
funnily enough, I remember Jeremy Clarkson/Tiff Needell saying something similar in Top Gear !!
