Yes the painter works at Mclaren so he does a very good job. Having the front bumper done next and some more recents chips out the bonnet and been quoted £300 which I think is fair enough.

Hello mate

Funnily enough I hear this quite a bit! My car was registered first in 2003 so my guess is it must have been one of the first blobeye to be made! I opened my service book last week and believe it or not managed to track down the original buyer from 18 years ago who confirmed it was in fact a blobeye when they bought it.

thats great mate! He must have been grinning from ear to ear when buying a blobeye brand new. Did he or she tell you anymore about his ownership with it?

Sadly not, they didn’t even have any photos of it when they bought it?! Couldn’t imagine not having photos of my stood next to a brand new car.

I didn’t think I was going to get much out of them
when they didn’t have any photos, I asked if the headlights where the same I.e it isn’t a bugeye to blobeye conversion which people almost convinced me it must have been as they never saw 52 plate blobs.

All I was told was the husband was very fond of the car, but I guess she may be saying that just to be nice!
