Default The ungrateful Sl*g

Love my classic Wagon,but god dam she is rinsing my bank account.
Off to the garage today to have the gearbox ripped out and find out why I can't select any gears.

Sorry to hear your having trouble.
Same happened on my old uk2000 terzo,giving it some beans went for 4th gear and nothing! Stuck in 3rd gear due to broken selector,£620 for rebuild inc clutch.

I'm hoping it's not going to cost me that much.
After having a play about with the gear linkage last night,I managed to be able to get it into all gears except 2nd,so was able to drive it 1st-3rd all the way to the garage.
Awaiting the outcome from the mechanic now.

if 5 speed surely your better off finding a good second hand box

theres atleast 4 hours labour just getting the box out and then back in(if it all come apart nicely) before they,ve done anything to the box mate
,sounds just as likely to be clutch or gear selector problem though if its not whining its **** off
