Going rotated is one of those jobs that requires total commitment. We've built them both ways and I'm not certain that the difference is as much as all that, but it certainly sexes it up a bit!

Yeah I'd imagine the performance difference on a road car isn't that drastic. Though as you say, it does look much more right. The mess of pipe work you end up with on a conventional FMIC looks more than a little Heath Robinson.
