The question is should i go for the abw arches? I do like them on the right car. Some colours dont suit it but some look pretty dam good...its not like it will de-value the car as its a v2 sti so not really a "limited edition" like a p1 or a type r/ra. But it is very very clean and rot free. Mmm..opinions

I would just need the wider wheels and spacers as its got bc coils on it already and the arches have been rolled. But you are pretty much stuck with the arches when they are on. But done right they look good. I have been speaking to abw about some carbon fibre wings, bonnet, bootlid and spolier, but they are in the process of speaking to another supplier in the next few weeks.

So i havent been on here for w while, not really drove the scoob just to the good weather! Iv just ordered a rear brake fitting kit so i can fit my rear brembo calipers to match the fronts and some new grooved discs and pads all round for the stopping power for when i have snough monies to get a twin scroll set up

Now on to the styling...first one is the rcm reverse scoop, do i keep it in black or get it done in white?

Secondly the wheels, i curbed them the other week on a faulty speed bump in the road! and seeing as its a custom colour i cant be bothered with the hassle of getting it matched up..so i was thinking maybe a nice and dark midnight purple or white? Opinions?

Little update on the scoob, iv not been updating this recently as iv not seen much of the scoob as shes been tucked away in a bodyshop to have a little freshen up

What was done..

All 4 arches were just tidied up, no rust or anything just my ocd kicking in, so they were smoothed down again and had a coating of waxoil on the inside of the arches and on the lip were it bends under the arch, not noticeable at all and it will stop any future nastys coming through 😊

Then the wheels were done in a gloss bronze inside and out, (look stunning in the light)
The reverse bonnet scoop was painted pearl white same as the car instead of black
And the splitter has a few scratches on it near the bottom so that had a lick of paint too .

Also my mudflaps from rally flaps came a couple of weeks ago but i havent got round to fitting them yet, il do it at the weekend

I ordered some crystal side lights to match the crystal headlights...the previous side lights were crystal but had black inserts and were full of condensation so it didnt look right..

And i rang up godspeed today to order some front and rear grooved discs and kevlar pads to go with my bigger newage sti brembos..spoke to ian, nice guy

And lastly ive also just ordered some millers 10/50w cfs oil, genuine scooby oil filter and some pr7fbr spark plugs to do a service when they arrive....thats it for now..more to come )

looking very smart, good choice on the new wheel colour too.

Certainly think it looks better with its original narrow body, not the ABW wide arches.

Looks stunning mate, For me the front it a little too far into the arch, could just be the angle.

Wheels look great, as does the white scoop.

Thanks mate. I think it looks better now, i wont be going abw as the arches are solid and it would be ashame to cut into them

Default More goodies have arrived :)

More goodies have arrived..newage grooved sti discs all round with kevlar pads and the rears with the steel inserts to suit the handbrake shoes on my v2 instead of buying the fitting kit at £150, all from godspeed..they are getting fitted tomorrow along with a service and ngk pr7fbr spark plugs...they havent been changed in a few years i believe as said by the previous owner.....next on the list is some ported headers, harvey trick up piper, lighened pulleys and a lightweight flywheel (4.8kg preferably) then a tweek to the map 😊Name: 20160303_143957_zpssb7fx5v3.jpg

Had a productive weekend, got the discs and pads fitted and gave her a service with some well needed plugs as they hadnt been changed in a while, used a genuine subaru oil filter and 10/40 cfs millers oil, runs even sweeter now...now that the boring service is done its time for some more modding

Default New bumper!!

Not been on here for a while, just an update...yesterday i went to pick up and fit my custom blobeye sti bumper to fit my classic, got it fitted...i love the look, looks far from a scooby at the front but i think it flows with the car nicely, it needs a splitter and maybe some skirt extentions but il see what it looks like with just the splitter first...opinions?

I preferred it the way it was.

Looks a bit of a frankenstine with the new front bumper lol. Each to their own though

sorry to say, I preferred it before too bud. A newage bumper looks a bit out of place in my opinion. That being said, well done for being a bit different and trying something interesting.
