Default Well its finally landed

Went to the docks today and picked up my new fresh import Sti5 TypeR.

Started up with no issues and engine was quiet as a mouse. Even had over half a tank of jdm fuel in it :-)

It has been a while since I have owned one (about 7 years or so) and I didnt realise how low they sit / seating position was compared to a newage. Mind I have put on a few pounds (read stones!) since I last owned one

Amazing! You must be one happy chappy! Will it be your weekend vehicle, garage queen or daily driver? Which importer did you use or did you import it yourself?

Sweet! Did you import it yourself or through an agent of some kind?

Thanks all. It is just going to be a weekend car. A mate and my bro are in the motor trade so they got it in for me. I'm more than happy with the car. Condition is spot on with NO rust at all. It has a small scuff to the front bumper corner that I will no doubt get painted once its all registered / road legal etc.

I was after a sonic Blue or Black V5 / V6 really but couldnt find one in Japan that I liked as most had aftermarket bumpers / bodykits / Bucket seatsetc.

The real good ones I did like were fetching strong money. The prices in Japan are defo increasing however I got lucky as this was purchased in late december when the exchange rate was in favour of the £ and shipping was cheaper also..

Cheers

I'm looking for a reliable dealer/broker in Japan at the moment. Any chance you could say who your brother used over there as you got what you payed for and never got ripped off! Any help would be great !

They used an import company ICM but if you are looking to buy let me know and I will tell them to keep an eye out for you for exact spec / model. To be honest they have only imported a hand full of cars and not had any issues.

Most companies take deposits before you can buy obviously however as they have paid the deposit and have an account I can have a look at the cars going through the auctions on a daily basis but be warned its addictive. Some of the R34 GTR's they have coming through = WOW..!

Not to mention modded NSX's ...

Cheers
