I've got a dyno read out for it at 265bhp at the moment. From what I can work out that's from map, 2.5" cat back & sports cat, walbro fuel pump and air filter. Not sure what else has been done to it so far!

Yeh I'm pleased with the look mate. Some people aren't too keen on the green. I've had to have the boot lid, spoiler and splitter resprayed. Bonnet and front bumper could also do with a freshen up. The wheels are a bit bubbly with corrosion so may get them powder coated matt black or stay anthracite?

Looks great as is, i wouldn't change anything externally. Wheel colour looks perfect as current.
I'd look at any handling (roll bars, links, anti-lift etc) and brake mods you have left to do, then go for a safe 300bhp (TD05 16g, 3" exhaust and a remap) - then you have the perfect set-up for Turbo 2000 (without engine rebuild etc).
Enjoy!

Elo mate - Cheers for that, yeh I was speaking to a Rowleys Subaru Specialist yesterday about either a TD05 upgrade or ball bearing VF34 to get closer to 300. Wouldn't want to go any higher as I still need reliability from the car. I don't know too much about turbo mods. Am I right in saying for example TD05.. Map again, Injectors to suit, STI Intercooler and possibly anti-lag as it'll be slower to spool up? Cheers
Anti-lag is a gimmick on a road car and is likely to cause more stress to the turbo.
Your 440cc injectors will be fine to 300bhp region. Sti inter cooler not necessarily required.
I'd go for 3" exhaust, td05 and remap for cheapest, easiest way to 300brake

On my old classic I went for:
Ninja Sports Cat
2.5" Magnex centre & back-box
JR panel filter
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Bob Rawle remap
Result: 325bhp/320lbft
Still good spool because of the VF35. Highly recommended. Wish I had never got rid of that car. It was a My00 UK Turbo btw. Already had the 440 injectors.
