Default Turbo timing

When running your car if u do not have a turbo timer how long do u let the car run for before you turn it off

just cruise/coast the last couple of miles home with no boost and leave it to idle for 20-30secs when you pull up and turn it off,

If you hoon it into your driveway on full boost, then you might have to wait a bit longer , though that tends to annoys your neighbours


any why is this in members gallery, I cant see any pictures

Drive it on full boost then turn it off as soon as you stop.
Then when your turbo finally dies you replace it with a bigger one

Am new to the site am still trying to work out how to put pics on the site or link. Thank u both for your help . It's just got told by my a mate I needed to let my turbo cool down . Thanks again

I like the last comment go full boost then when it go's bang get a bigger one . Lol . But will try the 1st comment as turbo s r alot of £ . Lol

Dont I just know it! Got to have mine rebuilt now, looking at 1000+£ The launch control might have something to do with the cracked exhaust housing
