Impreza Type R

Impreza Type R
I previously owned an Evo 7 and just one decided it was time for a change and it had to be an Impreza 2 Door. I scoured the UK for a decent P1 or Type R but struggled to find one that ticked all the boxes. So I then decided to contact JM Imports to find me a fresh import Type R in Japan.
So after a month or so wait he found me what looked in the photos to be perfect in every way for me. So I he quickly secured it in Japan and paid my deposit.
Then it was time to wait for the ship to leave from Japan having missed the last boat before the new year it made the first boat of the New Year and arrived in the UK towards the end of March. After a 2-3 weeks of the being in UK getting full prep (including underseal & an alarm fitted). I headed up to Newcastle yesterday to finally pick her up .
All I can say is wow what a car it is even better than I could have imagined as I headed in to the estate towards the JM unit I could see my car through the fence awaiting pre pick up photos. I then headed for a quick test drive with Jurgen (JM Import Owner). Then it was time for the 5.5hour journey back to Wales.
I must say having owned the evo prior to the Impreza it is not as brutal in the acceleration as the evo was but it is much better to drive than my evo was all be it after such a short ownership that is my initial opinion. Suppose you could say it feels of a drivers car if that makes sense.
Anyway here's a few photos of the type r
