boost gauge light

Been trying to wire in this light for my boost gauge in my98 . Everything I do anything the fuse pops any help please

It's only.a power cable

Race tech gauge . Odnly has one wire for the bulb

What other wires does it have? Are you sure the one wire isn't an earth?
