Doesn't help though when you've came from hid on another car.....can they be fitted on this or because it's glass and not plastic and a "ribbed" lens, would they work ok ie the beam pattern....or should be happy with other halogens ie night breakers ect, just thought I'd ask cheers

Personally, from experience and from the experience of others, I WOULD NOT put an HID kit into those lights.
The H4 kit, which is what you need, is a b@stard contraption which will either give:
Decent dip, crap main beam,
Decent main beam, crap dip, or
Both crap.
Whatever you do, it causes loads of scatter, and, given how poor the lights are anyway, with tons of scatter, the result isn't good.
I'd go for a decent halogen upgrade, or go HID PROPERLY, see here: https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...mpler-way.html
To do the above needs the clear lens lights, which aren't a perfect fit on your car They fit, but bonnet and grille shutlines are out.

Check out the bulb guide here: http://www.auto-lites.co.uk. Trying to get an advert up on here but its proving difficult getting in touch with the webmaster. Anyone know who to speak to. Also do a load of upgraded headlights for the Scooby.
