Default Oil pressure gauge & sender

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction for these 2 parts for a 98 v4 type r? I have the Lamco gauges installed im assuming these are standard? My gauge has been playing up so took it to the garage for them to have a look as i was unsure. They checked the oil pressure with an external gauge and its fine so im assuming its either the gauge or sender thats faulty. Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks

Paul

What do you mean buy its playing up mate?
If its on off on off! Check the earth (most likely)
If weired readings check the values on the sender using a flux!
If no readings on the gauge what so ever run 12v through the gauge!

It doesnt flicker it reads low on my gauge so i was worried. But iv had it checked and the oil pressure is fine 7 bar on start up from cold, 3 bar idling and 6 cruising. Is it more likely to be the sender or the gauge? I can't wire a gauge up to my sender because its a lamco one so will need both of them. Where can I get them from? Cheers mate.

Where have you put the Lamco sender?

Sorry, I don't follow this:

It could be either pal! If you do the quick test I suggested you'll get your answer it won't take long!
Shouldn't matter what type it is! It should be wired up along these lines

You can try. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

One of the deciding factors will be number of wires from sender MUST equal number of wires going into sender part of gauge, (ie: NOT total number of wires at gauge).

Yea like alcazar said you can do just disconnect from either end! Which ever is easiest to get to! Just wire it exactly the same as the pic above
