De mist button GC8
Morning,
Does anyone know whether the above button is supposed to illuminate when the sidelights/dipped lights are switched on? I know there is an oval light that illuminates when I switch the de-mister on. Please can anyone tell me?

That switch is supposed to be illuminated.
The icon on the switch should be white/greenisch, and when on there should be a orange light burning above the icon as well.
The small bulbs in there are prone to failing, so I modded mine with a green and a red LED. Never had any problems with all of the switched I modded (demist/front/rear fog etc)
