it is fault code 45 and is your map sensor

okay thanks, i only had the car a day and put in some 97 super fuel. i drove it maybe 10 miles and the next day i started it and immediatly it came on, so would it be related to that?

wouldnt of thought so mate they run on super unleaded anyway especially if its an import and a turbo

check your map or maf sensor it probably needs replacing

thanks, so all the map sensors i have seen say wrx sti, mine is only wrx jap import. any good links to where to track one down.

Ive only had the car two days and the second day i got this fault

i could be wrong but pretty sure the sti one will fit or look for someone breaking a car similar to yours and ask them for theirs failing that theres always ebay pistonheads etc dont think they are too pricey

can anyone confirm this is the right one for wrx classic, wrx sti the same??? would like to order one asap and cannot find anyone breaking a erx with the part i need....
