Lost keys,, cobra alarm Quick question
Am I right in thinking that I can just buy a new barrel and locks with key and fit that? I don't need a ecu to go with them etc? As my cobra alarm system
Would sort that out once I get a new fob reprogrammed?

Thank u for that,,, I noticed u u can pull something out on the key am I right in thinking this is the chip? Can it not be removed and left by the barrel and then any key that's been cut does not have to be chipped? Just a plain key?

Yeah I found them the key is but now so worried it may be weak now Iv straight it out and snap off,,, I rather leave the chip out and in the car by the ignition and use 2 blank keys I cut and saves money having them set up etc

So you have 1 or 2 keys?
I'm assuming you have a classic, as you said you can pull the chip from the key. Just buy a blank transponder key off ebay, genuine Subaru, with a slot for the transponder. Should be around a tenner.
But if you want 2 keys, if you only have one, might be cheaper to buy a lockset off here. 40 quid I paid.
