Hi all

I have a misfire problem I am trying to sort, but this morning my scooby wouldn't start! It turned over but no attempt at starting, it was as if there was no spark or fuel at all. Called the RAC and it started as soon as he turned up

Thinking about it later I remember that the Check Engine light did not illuminate with the oil and battery lights! What lights the CEL? I assume it lights and then goes out when the ECU decides there are no problems but what would stop it lighting up in the first palce?
