best managment system?
im just looking at options at the moment,
but i have a scooby sport rally car (road rally) in which i have a fresh 2.5 engine to go into, to get the best from the engine with the supporting mods on the car and maximise bhp, what would be the best route? as im sure the standard ecu wont be mappable?
im not 100% clued up on ecus, i know there purpose etc and i know you can map them, making the most of the mods and making it run better and adjust fueling, etc which im sure is the safest and most reliable way to maximise the potential from the engine.
i know its only a 2.5 NA engine but you cant use forced induction on road rallys, so need to make do with a sport, and legacy 2.5 engine as the transplant is pretty streight forward really.
any info appreciated!

I think on Sport you have little bit problem find mappable ECU,yes you can fit Simtek etc,but i think better will be source turbo engine/lump and go via this route, will be cheaper on longer run.
And for good infos about the Impreza Sport this is good website http://www.imprezasport.net/forums/i...showtopic=6666

I honestly think JGM or a.n.other mapper is the best place for information.
If you can get a 1999 UK turbo ecu to fit your 2.5 loom then yes they are mappable. O.S. or Ecutek.
