Airbag light problem

Airbag light problem
The airbag light on my wr1 has started coming on and off intermitadly i think its something to do with the connector under the drivers seat because when you fiddle with it a little it goes off but then comes back on 5-10 mins later. Got malcom irving(local subaru speacialist) to have a look at it today while he was servicing my car but malcom said it will probably have to go to palmers(dealers) to get checked out. Just wondered if any of you have had the same problem?

yeah, i have the same problem, i have'nt investigated it yet though, the light comes on sometimes, but if i switch the ignition off and on again..... it stays off???

let us know if you find the problem, getting quite irritating. is this an MOT failure?
