Default Atempted theft damage

Hey guys,

Some arsewipe tried to steel the scooby obviously amateurs whos only tools were hammers made a right mess of passenger window, steering column and surround etc...

New column new window and loads of cleanup later all back to normal except no central locking ?

there was a strange constant ( 5 times per second ) solenoid clicking type sound comming from the passenger footwell that appeared to be comming from the remote locking unit ( just above kick panel ) im not sure if this is a standard part or part of the aftermarket alarm system..

Anyway disconected battery to reset the alarm, reconnected now the unit has stopped clicking completely and there is still no c. locking.

Is there a fues for the CL only ? Im guessing this unit may have gotten wet thanks to the broken window, is there a simple way to test ?

Appreciate any pointers ( manual door locking is soo "70's" )
