A version 2 car with HID as standard? Didn't know they existed. Can you post a pic? Does it have projectors?

If it uses H4 HID's it is most certainly NOT standard. The only standard fittings are D2s etc.

If you already HAVE HID's on that car, it's too late, but do a search on here to find out the drawbacks.

Doesn't help, and not an OE as far as I know.

HIDs are an aftermarket add on. No classics came with HID as standard they were all H4's.

If one of your aftermarket Hi/Low bulbs has blown then you will need another Hi/Low bulb and a soldering iron.

"Standard H4 bulbs with standard connections"?

Then they aren't HID. So-called Xenon bulbs, maybe?

Looks to me like someone may have had a go at uprating the wiring. Maybe to fit rally bulbs or something similar.

Changes nothing though, you still need a H4 bulb. It should have 3 pins on the rear of the bulb.
