A version 2 car with HID as standard? Didn't know they existed. Can you post a pic? Does it have projectors?
|
it does not have projectors and i have now swapped the headlamps for crystal ones but has 2 fuses behind each and still use H4 bulbs i will get pictrues asap
|
If it uses H4 HID's it is most certainly NOT standard. The only standard fittings are D2s etc.
If you already HAVE HID's on that car, it's too late, but do a search on here to find out the drawbacks. |
cheer dude i have had a few looks but i can not find much i have seen a few over version 2 st'is advertised with hids so im guessing this was a optional extra
hope this picture helpshttp://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ylampfuses.jpg |
Doesn't help, and not an OE as far as I know.

hope this picture helps If one of your aftermarket Hi/Low bulbs has blown then you will need another Hi/Low bulb and a soldering iron. |

Those HIDs are an aftermarket add on. No classics came with HID as standard they were all H4's.

"Standard H4 bulbs with standard connections"?
Then they aren't HID. So-called Xenon bulbs, maybe? |
Looks to me like someone may have had a go at uprating the wiring. Maybe to fit rally bulbs or something similar.
Changes nothing though, you still need a H4 bulb. It should have 3 pins on the rear of the bulb. |
