Default help plz fuel light

hi i have a1995 impreza wrx but since ive had owned it i have no fuel light just wondered if its a case of they didnt come with a light or has the bulb gone etc any help greatly appreciated

AFAIK, orange light in the fuel gauge. Bulb MIGHT be gone, however.

No bulb to have gone anywhere. No reserve warning light on earlier classics. Only from the revised clocks onwards.

For a car that thirsty, it is strange - that's the Japs for you though.

thanks m8 can i fit later dials straight into my 95 if so what year clocks do i need cheers

Nope, I don't think it's that straight forward.

For starters, you'll want, IIRC, a 98 onwards classic cluster. That I do believe is an electronic speedo, not cable driven like the earlier ones so you'll need the stuff for that also.

Quite possibly need a later fuel pump cradle/sender unit assembly, etc.

It can be done, it's just a ball ache in my opinion.

What's easier to do, is fill up before you run out.
