Hey everyone, just bought a kenwood ddx 7029 second hand and I need some help on fitting it. I've got it in and all working, except when I play DVDs all I hear is sound and no picture. What has to be done to fix this? I've heard it has to be grounded etc? And what about the handbrake bypass? What colour are the wires I need to adapt? Any help would be very much appreciated! Someone has already adapted the black power lead of the loom.

Wasn't too hard to google the instruction manual: http://images.kenwood.eu/files/prod/...n_%28EN%29.pdf
Page 4 says a light green wire needs to go to the handbrake. although to bypass this, any earth. Its apparently illegal though.

Thanks mate, your a star, thought I had that booklet but it was instruction manual , so il just strip the end and connect to the chassis of the car or even the mounting cage? Thanks

or even the black wire from the cigarette lighter, thats nomally the earth.

Thanks everyone, got it sorted now! Was the green one, really happy with the kenwood unit! Got the freeview and all in now and it works perfectly! Would highly recommend kenwood!
