Voltage (0.9v) on 'ignition on' circuit when off
Hi All,
The alarm (Clifford G4 Concept 600) on my car (MY95 Impreza GL) is going off periodically and flashing a code for ‘ignition switched on whilst armed’. I have checked the ignition switch with a multimeter and noted that the ‘ignition on’ line (which goes to 12v when the ignition is switched to on, i.e. dash lights on) is at around 0.9v when the ignition is set to off or accessories. I assume this isn’t standard! Do you reckon it could be a switch fault (I don’t really understand how) or something coming back up from the alarm or something else in line? The alarm brain was recently replaced due to a fault, so for the purposes of this discussion we’ll assume it’s working okay and try to eliminate other sources please!
Cheers.

Been having another look at it tonight having not used the car today. It's rock solid at 0.15v now. I pulled the main fuse for the alarm and there's no change at the ignition. I also disconnected the ignition switch and tested the loom side and it's 0.15v there too, so it can't be the switch at fault. Daft question, but what else is connected to the ignition circuit that could be causing this? I'm wondering about right at the other end with the coil and ignition leads?
