car was running fine, the rev counter started jumping about and temp gauge went to the top as soon as the rev counter stopped jumping the temp gauge went back to normal.
then the rev counter chose when it wanted to work and the engine became a little spluttery. whilst all that was going on there was lots of clicking from relays up inside the dash.
now the car is very hard to start.........
can anyone help ???????????????

First thing I would check is Battery to body earth , then engine to battery earth... dont forget to check the battery terminals too ( both of them)
