Help - P1308 OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 2 Circuit Malfunction (Open)
A few days ago my engine management light came on, and having recently fitted a boost controller and a prodrive sports cat i put it down to this, took it easy and got myself to my friendly mechanic last nite. The light would come on for a while then go off then come on again, but there was never any set action that caused it to come on.
We took it out for a drive and on it came, so we where able to pull the code from the ecu, it gave us a P1308 which on the snap on diagnostics gives you a manufacturers specific. After we where able to find out what it meant,
I contacted subaru this morning, they no nothing about it and wont check the records. They say they need the bulletin number of the letter. So what i was wondering was has anyone else had their car recalled with this fault, and can you recall the bulletin number?
Also, was much work involved in fixing it?
Thanks in advance, and the car is a 2002 wrs sti type uk.

Now the mechanic is the person who was the previous owner of my car, and he had got a voicemail message 2 days ago saying that subaru had issued a warranty recall on my car for that exact reason. How happy am i!!!
