Help - P1308 OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 2 Circuit Malfunction (Open)

Help - P1308 OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 2 Circuit Malfunction (Open)

A few days ago my engine management light came on, and having recently fitted a boost controller and a prodrive sports cat i put it down to this, took it easy and got myself to my friendly mechanic last nite. The light would come on for a while then go off then come on again, but there was never any set action that caused it to come on.

We took it out for a drive and on it came, so we where able to pull the code from the ecu, it gave us a P1308 which on the snap on diagnostics gives you a manufacturers specific. After we where able to find out what it meant,

P1308 OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 2 Circuit Malfunction (Open), he laughed and told me i wasnt going to beleive this. Now the mechanic is the person who was the previous owner of my car, and he had got a voicemail message 2 days ago saying that subaru had issued a warranty recall on my car for that exact reason. How happy am i!!!

I contacted subaru this morning, they no nothing about it and wont check the records. They say they need the bulletin number of the letter. So what i was wondering was has anyone else had their car recalled with this fault, and can you recall the bulletin number?

Also, was much work involved in fixing it?
