Sounds as though the HID kit has goosed the dip switch.

Do you have a multimeter or a circuit tester?

Both are dim because you are dropping 12 v across both loads, instead of feeding them separately...

HTH

P.S. pull relays out and swap over to see if one is goosed, and check all fuses.

Hi Guys thanks for your help, it was the driverside headlamp fuse (looked ok ie wire not broken) swapped it for a new fuse and working again.

Now thats sorted need to fit the HID kit.
Its one of Bobs dipped beam H1 kits (trying to fit to 05 Blobeye STI), plugged everything in but bulb did not light up (red wire from hid kit to red car wiring and black wire from hid kit to black car wiring) . I know many advise to swap the wires but is there any chance of blowing anything I dont want to cause problems. Is there anything else I need to do (do the wires need to go directly to the battery as suggested by Bob or into the standard dipped beam wiring)?
Thanks guys

LOL thats what I thought, plugged them in and I think thats what caused the fuse to blow.

Any ideas Bob or anyone with experience with these kits?

I'VE got issues?

Hold on, I'll just send you a threatening PM shall I? LOL

Just amused at how fast you appear to sell stuff, compared with how fast you appear to help anyone

Happy New Year BOB
