Has anyone got any ideas on where to look for a bad connection when my speedo needle is bouncing like hell... It works fine every now and then, but most of the time it apparently "looses its connection", since it falls down to zero or just bounces up and down. When I accelerate or brake heavily it always seems to work, but when stepping of the pedal it sometimes falls back to zero, so it must be a connection problem somewhere, but WHERE ?!?!?

Mine did a similar thing before completely failing. It turned out the be the little speedo cable coming out the top of the gearbox but I suppose it could be any section of the speedo cables from the gearbox to the dash.
Try putting your hand up behind the dash and make sure that the cable is plugged in properly!

Thanks for your reply ZAZ,
A week ago I installed a boost gauge, and when I took the hose thru the jungle of cables I might have "almost" disconnected something, it seems. Yesterday I tried to check all connections, but couldn't find anything, however, today it works !!! Go figure...
