I have some MY99 fogs on my MY94 WRX and would like to fit some better bulbs for the VERY rare occasions that I use them.

Has anyone tried higher wattage bulbs and is the wiring to them an issue ?

The fogs use H3 55w. In theory you can put up to 130w bulbs in. Due to the design of the fog beam reflector - wide, flat beam with sharp vertical cutoff, no offside lane beam cutoff and very short reach, there is absolutely no point whatsoever in putting more powerful bulbs in - unless you want to dazzle people coming the other way even more that 55w do (due to no offside lane beam cutoff).
