Default Detangoing my 2002 bugeye

Hi all,

Im interested in doing the above as ive seen a lot of people on here have done and it looks the nuts, just wondering what exactly im to do and is it a tough job as im no mechanic but i can say i know my way around most parts of a car...maybe with the help of a manual....gotta start somewhere??/

cheers paul,

i might give the long nose pliers a shot...hopefully all goes well!!!! Im new to all this, but id rather do it myself than hand over cash to someone else, u reckon its easy enuf???

I had no problems at all Jonnie, just push the orange dome into the headlight and snip away with the log nosed pliers.

PM me if any more info. is needed, but you'll be fine

Long nose pliers or snips works well, just take it easy and be careful not to scratch the silver headlamp surface. Well worth the effort. The only thing is once you push the orange bulb cover off there is only one way to go... finish the job.

looks the nuts,im defo gonna do mine too. is it a case of smashing up the orange bulb cover so to speak inside the lamp then taking out the pieces

Yep, just break them up small enough to come out of the bulb hole

Can this be done on the Blobeye or do you have to heat them up in the oven?!?!

can anybody show me an example of the liers i need to do this.
i have removed my headlights and have pushed the wee orange dome in..ah!!!!! ( and im working friday )
