Cool

Hi folks.

I am trading in my MY00 turbo (with PIAA driving lights) for one of the new wrx sti uk models (prodrive version). I've heard that behind the fog covers there is just a hole, so I was wondering if there are any driving lights available which will fit, and allow the sti covers to be fitted over the top.

Cheers,
Iain

I saw something on here with a link to the 'Prodrive Japan' website * which showed some pretty cool looking Driving lights which have been designed for the prodrive model.

They look expensive though as you have to remove the funky new covers and refit what looks like a completly new cover with the (full size, not P1 style) light units built-in.

I don't know how you would then protect the lamp unit...perhaps with a clear plastic cover?

* Sorry I don't have the URL.

Been speaking to local dealer & no, not at moment. however if you order standard STi, then add prodrive spoiler, front grill side sills & voila you have lights.

Apparently Prodrive remove all wiring looms & front fog light from Prodrive version.......do wot??

Iain,

The picture on the Prodrive Japanese web site is of the original car they designed as a prototype for the Prodrive STi.

Prodrive will be releasing fog lamps to fit the STi Prodrive as an accessory.
Driving lamps are being looked at with different covers, so I wouldn't panic they will eventually be released I'm sure.

Cheers,

Rob.

So you lose your fog lights when you pay more for the prodrive kit, and then have to pay for them again when you want them back????

Jezzzzzus dont we all get spanked!!!

Can someone please post a picture of this fog / driving lamp cover from the Prodrive - japan site (or e-mail it to me, as I can't find it)

Try this link...

http://www.prodrive-japan.com/products/p_wrc1/lineup.html

Had a mail from a chap at prodrive stating that they are working on a set of driving lights, (I'm not interested in fogs), and hopefully they'll be available in the not too distant future ...
