I did send an email to PSI3. But have had no response. It may not have gotten through as I used a gmail account.

I have a pod mount unit in a Subaru impreza bugeye sedan wrx. It was working correctly last year. It is the version with 4 units displayed on the screen

With the engine running

It comes on with the ignition and you see the startup+welcome message.
It then says good bye and you can see only the time for a few
min. It then switches off. If you press the enter key it does this
again. (Please note it has worked correctly for the last year.)

What could be causing this? It is possible to reset the unit to defaults.

I assume the unit is getting power as it displays the time for quite a
few minutes. (with the engine running)
