Default Connector in boot

There is a two pole white connector under the rear parcel shelf on a bugeye sedan WRX. The spade connectors are at right angle to each other(T). What is this used for? It is currently not connected to anything.

That's what lives under the shelf of my MY01 WRX - could be for the intercooler spray water tank pump?

That is the connector, But the 02 STI has the same connector and it not connected to anything. The IC spray is not connected to it.
