Default Earth / ground readings when engine idling, on Apexi PFC 92-96

Hi all

Working through the funny problem where my new lambda sensor gives the "right" reading, right down the wire to the ECU after where the AFR gauge is wired in. The narrowband AFR gauge shows the approriate lights for the lambda voltage.
BUT the PFC's hand commander shows it about 0.3 v low .. So ecu tries to add fuel!

Now I checked the "shield" wire on the Lambda and it came up as 0.3v. Hmm interesting. Is the lambda signal being referenced against this 0.3v "earth" shield wire?

BUT just checked the other earth / ground wires ( e.g. plub B43 pins 11, 21, 22 ) which are the power, sensor and control earths, and theses ALL show up as 0.3v !!!!

Can anyone with a 92-96 please check these wires for earth continuity and voltage to earth from them and post the results please?
Ditto any one with a 92-96 scooby Apexi PFC ecu.

Would I cause any damage or confused readings if I earthed all these ecu ground/earth wires and pulled the signal ( as volts vs good chassis earth ) to 0.0 v ??

Thanks in advance.

Neil
