I have just bought an AVC-R, and was thinking about mouting it where the old double din cd player used to be (currently have a single din alpine unit in place).

My main concern is the size of the AVC-R, as obviously i think it is "taller" than a standard cd head unit, but not as wide?

Would it fit in the gap where i currently have a pocket fitted, or will i have to fit a blanking plate, and then mount it to this?
