Jap Import

Hi my Fuel Gauge on my import does'nt work.
The dials are white and the car was purchased like this.

I'm wondering whether the connections are'nt tight on the back from when the white dials was fitted. (I had this problem on an old car).

Any thoughts as to what the problem could be?

Ok, Checked the connections, all seems pretty good.

Could it be the sender unit?

I was hoping I could just replace the gauge but I notice I will require the whole console.
