Hello
Can anybody give me advice.
I have a problem with my Impreza Turbo 20l 1994
Then i turn ignition key after two secconds both radiator fans start to run, check engine lamp is on, and engine doesn't start.
Maby you have anny ideas, what is causing this problem?

Engine coolant sensor at a guess. I had the same late last year.
This may not be totally right, but the way i see it, the sensor isn't working so the ECU thinks the engine's running really hot so sticks the fans on. It also cuts the auto choke so that in this lovely cold wether it will not start, or if it does it runs really badly.
I can't remember exactally how much the sensor was, around £20 i think. It's not too much of a job to replace, just unscrew it fron the top of the block. It helps if you have small hands.
Oh yeah, don't drop the old sensor or it'll most likely end up falling down the side of the heat shield, never to be retreived
