Question Classic Morrettes - Inner (High Beam) Lamp unit needs replacing

Anyone replaced one of these on a Classic?

The inner lamp unit on one side has got corrosion obscurring or lifting off the reflective chrome/silver coating - MoT failure - But OK if you cover both the inner lamps and disconnect - So MoT passed

But I need to get a replacement lamp unit from somewhere - anyone know the spec ? - are they a standard part & where to go for a good price?

Cheers

Mick

Polished her yesterday - back from dull pink to gleaming red YeeHar

i got one from demon tweeks for about £60ish, but i'm pretty sure they are a standard cibie light that you can get for £30, measure it up and shop around.

Idid find a thread a while ago that had the addy of a rally spares place that did cheap cibie lights, but as the search isn't working....

Never found anything that fits.

Infact still haven't replaced the lights, just removed them for the MOT.

Wink

I have to admit to having toyed with the idea of cobbling something together to allow me to fit the P1 style HID Hella lights to the inners.........

Already got hella 1000FF HID driving lights, with the inners on too it'd be awesome. so much light coming out that a less powerful car would go backwards from the recoil
