Default Most powerful bulb for headlights

Hi.

One of the headlight bulbs on my MY99 has just died, so I'm looking for replacement ones.

What are the most powerful/best lighting bulbs I can get? Looking for the best light possible on the standard headlights/wiring.

Been browsing through the PIAA website and their bulbs do look good (although a bit pricey).

Cheers,
Paulo

Wink

There was an extensive thread on just this question about 4 weeks ago. Try a search.

Personally I use GE Megalights 60% uprated bulbs in my Morette outers (H4), with standard 55W H2 bulbs in the inners, and a pair of Scoobysport's Hella 1000ff HID units for driving lights. Can't beat it.

I would.............if I wanted an Eastern European, or Far Eastern copy of a decent bulb that probably puts light anywhere but where it's wanted

Ken: in lighting, you generally get what you pay for mate (Except for PIAA bulbs, where you pay for the marketing )

The ones I got say Philips Vision plus on the box. But it's a weird clip together packet, not the normal cardboard thing.

Maybe designed for the DE market.

What's it say on the bulb bases? If they ARE PVP, then they are worth having

In fact, I'll get some for my eldest
