How do Subaru make a profit ?
Bulb died behind the heater control (JDM 95 Wagon) so off to local subaru garage Olympian in Poole Dorset , handed over bulb waited 15 mins yep 15 mins for a quote of £13 plus vat and 2 -3 weeks ,how on earth can they charge that much for a sodd'in bulb then they rang me and will not order as there are so many types on an import and now I have to go back with the chassis no , any ideas where I can buy them cheaper !!

How do they make a profit? Because 90% of people needing a bulb will just let them fit one and pay the price.
Same as 90% of Citroen Xantia owners will pay Citroen to fit a front foglight bulb at a cost of £94 +VAT + cost of bulb, since it's a bumper-off job
I'd like to meet the **** who designs cars like that

Ditto Maplin, was there yesterday.. pity they were out of stock though!! if it's the same as new age one behind the heater controls, code is PG85 (so they said, not seen one to compare), you can check stock on their web site..
