I've just received a set of clear front indicator lenses for my MY00, but which didn't include orange bulbs.
The existing clear bulbs have the two pips directly opposite each other; however, the orange ones I've managed to get have them slightly offset, so they don't fit.
Is there such a thing as an orange bulb that fits the original socket? If so, where can I get one and what's the type number?
Thanks
Andy.

Thanks for the advice - I actually just took a file to one of the pips on the orange bulbs and it fits fine now! Seems tight enough too, I don't think they're going to fall out (famous last words!).
Oddly it was the side repeaters that came with bulbs; I found these for about 50p in Halfords anyway. The problem is the front ones, where the clear bulbs seem to have pips opposite each other and the orange ones are offset, presumably to make it impossible to fit a clear bulb in a fitting that requires orange ones.
Mike: if your orange bulbs do fit the standard Impreza then I'd be interested to order a couple of spares - please mail me the details.
Cheers
Andy.

Forget orange bulbs, we've got some new silver bulbs for the front indicators.
These are invisible until they come on, they then go the normal orange.
These have been designed for clear indicators and are well cool.
12 quid +vat a pair.

If you have a problem with your plug not accepting the bulb you have, you can file down one of the pins. They'll then fit and will still work fine.

I had a look at Powerbulbs' site - the silver bulbs look great although it looks like they too have the offset pips, and so would need 'modification'.
Pete: are yours the same or would they fit my car directly?

No, sadly the indicators didn't come with bulbs or fittings - just the clear lens itself and the pod that it attaches to.
I don't know who the manufacturer is, but the quality seems fine and they were cheap! £70+vat from
