I`ve just bought a Blitz Power Meter I-D from racelogic and it is kin amazing.
It times 0-60 runs 1/4 mile and gives you all your bhp curves.
My type R is pushing 345bhp, and i did a 0-60 run last night in 4.1secs

345bhp, erm a tad optimistic perhaps Sir?

Doesnt Guernsey have some sort of strict speed restriction anyhow? )or is it just Jersey)

How does it calculate BHP? Would it just a a lookup table based on input from an accelerometer (if such a think exists)

Intrigued with this!

It calculates Bhp from the weight of the car, you program in the weight when you set it up (mine is 1325kg) and then have to drive at 40 kph to do a speed calibration. Once set up it`s the dogs. Only 3 wires one to earth one to ign live and the other to the speed sensor wire on the ECU.
