Question

How easy is it for a novice to replace the standard fogs?

I'm off to buy some this morning and it looks as if I'll need to fit them if I don't want to wait. Any guidance appreciated.

Cheers
Neil

Oh, and I also want to wire them so they come on with full beam. Is this legal?

Question

Hi neil,
Where did you get your piaa kit from and what price did you pay?
I would like to know how much cheaper it is compared to main dealer prices.
Regards
Rob

Got them from Graham Goode Racing in Leicester. Lights were £250 + £20 for brackets. Was going to fit them myself but, after reading some of the previous threads on this topic, have decided to play safe and get a professional to do the job. Still, I reckon I'll get the whole job done for less than £432 which is what my dealer quoted.
If you hunt around you may be able to find a cheaper source for the lights. I'll let you know the fitting cost once they've been done.

Cheers
Neil

Cool

Rob

Had the lamps fitted yesterday by my dealer. Took 2.5 hours and the cost was just over £100. Apparently my lamps were about 70 quid cheaper than if I had bought them from the dealer/Prodrive.

I still think that £350+ for lamps and fitting is a stack of money. If I'd thought about it before hand I might had looked at Cibies as a cheaper option

Cheers
Neil

Just been out to test the lights - any excuse

They're brilliant, like driving in daylight!
