Default Poor fitting Clear indicators

Has anyone had any problems with clear front indicators not fitting correctly?

I have a MY98 and have found that the front indicators are not catching correctly to the slot in the bumper. They bolt in with the fog lamp bolt but seem to be too short to catch the bumper on the other end.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

I had this exact problem with a cheapie pair I bought off e-bay. They would rattle around and look like they were going to fall out at any moment

Solved the problem by changing to a facelift bumper and re-tangoed!

I bought mine from Scoobyworld too but for facelift. They look good but I had a couple of quality issues fitting them. 10 minute job took 1.5 hours. The biggest problem in terms of fitting was I had to drill out the bolt holes to the correct size. The other stuff could be consider RAS or "fussy" depending on your mindset.

I bought a set off e-bay for MY98 ([pre-facelift) and have the same problem (bracket not hooking into the bumper properly). Thought about slotting the holes behind the driving lamp to let the unit slide back into the bumper but haven't really looked at it in detail yet.

Just bought some for MY00 off e-bay. Took literally 2 minutes to do both. I'm still in shock that something was this easy to fit on an Impreza. Perfect fit. Seller was nicejdmparts. Does pre face lift as well I think. Pi$$ cheap as well.

And yes the nearside front indicator is a bit wobbly but it has not fallen out yet, had no problems with my old clear set
