Why stick to PIAA when others are available that are every bit as good and even better.

Philips or even Halfords own. My PIAA's were failing every 2-3 weeks (replaced each time under warranty).

I got well fed up and switched to Halfords 120W's. They've lasted have last well over 2yrs now.

Elaborate? Quite simple. The price from PIAA is a rip off. Like Ozzy says get yourself to Halfords at a fraction of the price, that's what is in my driving lights, or contact Andy Batters at Mac's Garage, Ilkley.

Think you'll find Stephan is just talking about the bulbs and I think he is pretty happy with his PIAA's ... I know I am.

What do you suggest out of Halfords that is better ?

If you want H3 120w you can get alternatives to PIAA for a lot less money. Halfords is a starting place or Mac's Garage Ilkley or for me Motoscope Northallerton. Any good supply shop selling rally type gear will have or can get 120w H3s.

Yes I was just talking about the bulbs. I would get replacement lenses or a full kit from David Reid.

I'm very happy with the PIAA's, but the reflectors have a habit of rusting and I've smashed three already

I've taken them off my car completely to give them a proper clean and a re-spray. Waiting on David getting some replacement lenses before I refit them in the New Year.

Have a good Xmas folks and a Happy New Year to you all
