Lack of use and its eating batterys!
#1
Any one got any ideas out there, my 00 Turbo 2000 is not being used to much at the moment and it seems to be eating the battery?
I have had 2 new batterys in the last 4 months but if the car does not get touched for about 2 weeks its as flat as a pan cake?
I have a cat 1 cobra and RAC tracker which on the face of it appear to be knocking the battery out.
Any one got any ideas out there as I'm not at home to much at the moment and my other half does not go near the scooby much.
If I disconnect the battery does the tracker/alarm still work eemm I dont think it will.?

Get a Battery Master from Halfords. It gets left connected to the battery and monitors the state of charge, giving it a trickle charge as required so your battery is always fully charged. I used one successfully on a car that I had that was off the road for the winter. About £15 if I remember correctly.
