Ok electrical whizz kids:
I need a Schematio for a MY94 UKLegacyTurbo (square shape), specifically the dashboard illumination and related systems.

I have managed to damage this changing dashbulbs (for nice blue LED ones) and suspect I shorted something. No burning. No fuses seem to have gone (though I haven't checked the ones under the bonnet). Just a complete lack of any dashboard illumination: binnacle, heater or switches.

Ideas or schematics, please!

Thanks in adavnce: Steve

If you have shorted the dash lights the first thing to go will be the dimmer!
Are the switches lighting up (fog lights??)
If they are not try this....
Try taking a feed from the lighting curcuit joining it to the dash light curcuit this can all be done behind the fog light switch

Hope this helps Doc..

Cool

I haven't tried it yet, but that sounds like the problem:
All the lights have gone out

Will try bypassing the dimmer for a sec and see what happens.
Question is....I wonder what shorted it out

I am guessing it happened when I pushed the binnacle back against it's bulkhead...will look for exposed PCB tracks when I next take it out.

Thank you thank you thank you...I thought it might be the dimmer. Hmm...can you tell me....where is the dimmer? In the steering column? And how much are they?

Thank you thank you thank you again.
