I am trying to install a Blitz FATTDC turbo timer to a MY98 Impreza, however, I can not see where the wiring harness is supposed to plug into under the sterring column as described in the instructions. Has any one had any experience of fitting one of these???

on my 99 spec there was a metal shroud around the ignition barrel when this is removed i followed the wiring for about 2 ins (this was coiled up with a tie strap). There was a plug on this which interfaces with the wiring loom supplied with the kit

What did your scoob wiring loom look like, was it just a 4 pin conector to a 3 pin conector?

Should just plug in, you may have to seperate the current nylon plug in style blocks, on my MY99 STI-V i had to remove some insulating tape to find the right blocks to connect to.

What I found was that you can configure the alarm to wait for a set period of time, (If it's a clifford or Toad or something similar) or set it to monitor the ignition until the power has dropped, most places who install the alarms can set this up, but you need a fail safe in place for the nice people who TWOC. A running scooby most be a dream come true for.

The easiest way to do it is to use the spare relay output on a clifford 300 and set the delay for about 2 or 3 minutes, that should normally be enough time, unkless you've been caning the **** of it of course!!!
