Usual suspects. Motorworld, Halfords etc. £20+ for a pair. I personally prefered my Ring Electra Ice Blue to my Philvis. The Ring have a better dipped light spread, but the Phil have a better main beam. Depends what you want.

Just ordered from Powerbulbs, less than 20 notes and includes free side lights to go with them, oh and no shipping charges can't be bad. Thanks all.

Hopefully I'll be able to see where I'm going now!!

Lightbulb

Given the questions you have asked, you may also need to know this.....

When you go to pull the wiring plug off your present bulbs, it won't come off. That's because there are two locating clips which you have to release. Squeeze the rubber connector on the back of the bulb in on both sides and the wiring plug will pull off. Oh, and don't touch the bulb glass with your fingers either

Lastly, it is easy to fit the bulb so it is not level in the holder and the beam setting will be off. Make sure the new bulbs are seated squarely in the holders.

Like many, (as above) I found Powerbulbs website easy to use and the delivery quick.

If you follow the handbook, the bulbs are dead easy to fit.

Try the PIAA Extreme bulbs. Their not cheap but you get near enough HID on them.

where can these bulbs be found, I had some that were about 70notes for the pair, after 1 expired about 6 months later id rather not spend another 70 notes.

Come to think of it they may have been PIAA ones not sure though.

Erm think I've been a bit of ****....

I just realised that I have ordered 2 sets of 2 H4 bulbs...
I asked how many to buy and rightly was told .... 2, so off I went to the website and ordered .... qty 2.
I have now realised they come in sets of 2, so I have ordered 4.... ****!!
Please can someone confirm that I am a **** (just for this specific reason , not generally) so I can get the order amended.

I am now 99% sure of being a ****.

I decided to actually look at the car. And can only see one bulb so that confirms it really, I am a ****.

By the way how do you replace the sidelight, does the cover have to come off?

Get the order amended quick!
Sidelights come off by undoing the screw at the outer top edge of the headlight unit, under the bonnet, then pull the sidelight forwards-it's held by a ball and socket thingy, so pull it gently, but firmly.
The bulb comes out by twisting it's bulbholder.

See my post(Powerbulbs tip), if you need bulbs for Prodrive lights as fitted to the UK300.
